"The beer pays tribute to the many heroic efforts of those Jersey Strong folks helping rebuild from the devastation of Superstorm Sandy.
Thanks to the work of our wholesalers, bar and restaurant owners and consumers like you, we've been able to donate more than $45,000 to relief efforts so far. Some of the proceeds from this beer will add to that total.
Sandy is a hybrid wheat-pale ale. It's hopped with experimental hop ADHA 483, never before used in a beer. The hop gives a beautiful guava and melon aroma with a nice hop finish. It's a one of a kind experience - just like the Jersey shore."
