Description
Throw on the mask, pop up the dive flag and splash into a day of fun on the West coast of Florida.
An adventure and a constant search to try and find as many tasty little gems as you can sums up the underwater treasure hunt that is scalloping off the West coast of Florida. It also sums up each attempt to find the hops we need for our west coast IPA.
The constant pressure of hop lovers across all oceans has made finding large amounts of hops like Citra, Mosaic and others tougher and tougher each year. For Down Deep™, we’ve put the bounty of our treasure hunt in your glass.
You’ll find deep grapefruit and resinous citrus notes in the aroma, supported by a subtle but clean aroma of sweet grain. The hop flavor presents itself as resiny grapefruit and tropical fruit, with a subtle sweet cracker support from the grain. Firm bitterness and a clean, dry finish leave you ready for another sip… and very proud of the result of our hunt.
