Description
Huge coffee nose, malty and sweet with a fruity character, this medium-to-light beer finishes dry with hints of citrus, resin, cedar and a long coffee finish. The citrus from the hops pares well with the coffee acidity. The blonde style allows the coffee to shine and take the lead. This beer is very refreshing. Kegs and eggs anyone?
Most coffee beers are stouts or porters. These two styles already have coffee qualities to them because of the malts. The coffee is typically playing a support role or just enhancing the already existing coffee flavor and aroma. The blonde style lets the coffee take the lead and create a very drinkable refreshing beer.
