Our Ur-Gose is a revival of the old Märzen-Gose style, but with new twists: to the traditional barley, wheat and oat malts and coriander we add Swiss Stone Pine cones, fine Ceylon Cinnamon, and smoked salt from the thousand-year-old Halle saltworks near the brewery. Finally, extra doses of aromatic Hallertauer Perle and bittering Taurus hops round out this unique Märzen-Gose (this seasonal specialty is brewed every two years in exchange for the Ritterguts Spezial-Gose and will be available for the first time from February 2018).
